i wear jeans and t shirts all the time, any ideas on how to change it up, maybe a polo, or a nice button shirt to go with blue jeans, and what kinda shoes can go with that ?

Polos and button ups sound good. You could even try a nice sweater, maybe a v neck with a button up underneath :O Simple black leather shoes will look nice. You could try some dressier flat front pants too, if you wanted.
